To export data from Beckon, go to "Operate", under "Data Management", select "Export".
The "Saved" tab shows a list of all export queries that exist currently.
You can export data by re-using an existing export query. Do this by clicking on the button for the desired query. Note that doing so will start the corresponding export immediately.
The "Executed" tab shows a list of all export queries that have been completed. You can view and download the exported data here.
If a "Saved" export query that you need does not exist, you can create a new one.
To create a new export query, click on "Create New Source Query" or "Create New Aggregate Query" as appropriate on the top right corner of the page. "Create New Source Query" is to be used if you wish to export the source data as-is, like how it was ingested into Beckon from the data source. "Create New Aggregate Query" is to be used if you wish to export data after it has been aggregated by Beckon.
Create the export query by selecting dimensions, metrics and the time period of the data that is to be exported. For the aggregate query, you can also select the grouping (optional) for the query.
Click "Export Data" to execute the export query.Note that doing so will start the corresponding export immediately. Depending of the size of the query, this can take a few minutes to complete.
Click "Save Query" to save your export query, give your query a name and (optional) description. A saved export query can be used repeatedly to export data.
A "Saved" export query can also be invoked via Beckon's API.
