Using Dimension Mapping

Overview

Dimension Mapping is used to dynamically enrich data with additional dimensions.

You can define the new dimensions by importing a Beckon-formatted dimension mapping file as follows:

%Template:RichDimensionMappingTemplate
Agency,Type,Market
Agency 1,Type 1,Market 1
Agency 2,Type 2,Market 2
Agency 3,Type 3,Market 3
Agency 4,Type 4,Market 4

Alternately, for advanced use cases, a custom file can be used with a Transformer to convert it into Beckon-formatted Dimension Mapping file.

Information

Dimension Mapping files can be imported by uploading files in the Files page, which can be found by navigating to OPERATE > MONITOR > Files page.

Dimension Mapping files can also be imported through the Connector Import page:Screen_Shot_2018-01-25_at_2.28.50_PM.png

In case you are using connector imports for Rich Dimension files, to add a property "richDimensionMappingFile" and set it to true.
