Beckon has many tools to view data. To simply view data in a chart, start out by going to "Insights", under "Analyze", select "Answers". On the answers page you'll see Beckon's charting tool.
1. This is the metric selection tool, the first step is to select the metric you'd like to view.
2. Next select a dimension or dimensions you'd like to view for this metric. This menu will display only the dimensions available for the metric selection. *Optional: You make also leave this selection as "All Marketing", and view all data for this metric
In this case we'll be looking at the "Lunch Rating" of our Beckon Employees. And we'll be viewing the lunch rating for 3 dimensions: "all kind of pizza", "all the things!" and "all you can eat".
You may also decide to view during a certain time period, or compare your metric's performance with a different metric.
3. After we have our selections in place, let's take a look at the chart settings area on the right hand side. Beckon will show you a default chart for your metric and dimension combination. To change the chart type, select from a number of styles. The charts that are shown greyed out are not available for your type of query as they would not make sense for the type of data you are viewing.
For the "Lunch Rating" graph, we'll go with a bar chart.
To name your chart, you will find an editable Name and Description at the top of the chart.
4. Lastly, if you like your chart and would like to save it to view it again, you must save it to a dashboard. Click Save in the top right corner of the Answers page. Review the title and description you chose for your chart (or add one here). These will be used to remind viewers of the purpose of the chart. And select a dashboard to add it to, or create a new dashboard.
Now you will be able to view your chart whenever you want from your dashboard and the chart will continue to get updated data.
